Welcome to my Blog!
I can’t believe it's 2026 already! It felt like 2025 was a blip on the radar but it really wasn’t. I accomplished so many amazing things that I might have set the bar too high for myself! As a motivational speaker/moderator, I spoke for a total of 22 times (that's almost bi-weekly!) Some notable mentions were the ASET conference, Westney Heights Public School, DDSB Educator’s Conference , Durham Region, Equitable Bank, and a massive company that I cannot name as I am under a NDA! That in itself is a big deal if you ask me! I love speaking, sharing my story and inspiring people to push past their limits. I truly feel blessed to be able to do what I do.
Beyond that I embarked on a journey of 6400km over 8 days across 2 countries and 8 states to get my car…Yes, you read that right. I drove to Tucson, Arizona to pick up my racecar that was unfortunately left behind after graduating from university back in 2024. I did this alone. I have never trailered a car before and it was an amazingly freeing and liberating experience. I encourage you to do something that scares you at least once a year.
Even bigger than all of that other stuff was the launch of the Anthony Lue Foundation. Over the past few years I have had a huge calling to community service. I keep saying it, and it goes a little something like this…”I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the support of my family, my friends and my community. They have pushed me and supported me in my time of need and I feel that it’s time to start giving back.” There are so many stories and lives that I can change for the better and with the support of my ever growing network, I know good things are coming. I cannot wait to call myself a “philanthropist.”
As we round out the first month of 2026 I implore you to take an inward look to see where you can become a better version of yourself. My favourite saying is “Put your mask on first!” I use the analogy of flying in a plane and an emergency. The flight attendant always says to “put your mask on first in the event of an emergency, before trying to help those around you.” Basically if “Yo ass pass out, you ain’t helpin nobody!” I am a firm believer that once you become more secure in who you are as a person, the less trouble you will have in turbulent times. This, in turn, allows you to be there for those who truly need it. If you're the one that truly needs it, take that time and do what you need to do to make sure you are ok mentally, physically and emotionally.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk…Until Next month!
Forward Always, Always Forward
